Fall suppers are a prairie tradition. Every autumn, residents of rural towns prepare community feasts, typically with home-made turkey, meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, farm-fresh vegetables, pies, and all sorts of local flavour and family recipes. These meals are served to guests who arrive from near and far to enjoy the local food and friendships.
