Earlier, I posted my APA-style templates to the template repository at OpenOffice.org. To make downloads easier, I’ve also posted my APA-style templates onto my own server. My download page is here.
There’s a template modeled after the 5th edition of the APA Publication Manual as well as one modeled on the 6th edition of the APA Publication Manual. For the template based on the 6th edition, I used the second printing (October 2009) of the Publication Manual as my guide rather than the now infamous first printing.
An earlier article about the templates can be found here.

I’ve officially removed my APA-style template (5th ed.) from the OpenOffice.org web site after nine months and more than 20,000 downloads. I had no control there over repeated download problems and received no response from the web site administrators when I asked them to address these issues. I hope download issues won’t be a problem on my web server. At the very least, I’ll know how to get in touch with the boss. ;)
